Founder Mr. Kotaro Kubo established KUBOKO STORE as a private enterprise in Osaka and started the sales of raw materials of paints and the manufacturing of nitrocellulose lacquer.
1928 Constructed Nissin Lacquer plant at Nishi-Awaji, Higashi-Yodogawa-ku, Osaka.
1929 Opened Tokyo branch in Tokyo.
1930 Opened a sales office in Dalian in Manchuria. (Now closed)
1932 Opened a sales office in Hiroshima. (Now closed)
1940 Constructed Tokyo plant in Tokyo. (Now consolidated with Osaka Plant)
1952 KUBOKO PAINT CO., LTD. was incorporated.
1955 Opened a sales office in Nagoya and Fukuoka.
1963 HOKKAIDO KUBOKO PAINT CO., LTD. was established.
1969 Paid up capital increased to the current level of JP Yen 150,763,000.
1987 Constructed Hyogo plant (called MEPCO Corp) in Hyogo Pref.
1989 Established KYUSHU KUBOKO CO., LTD.

1995 Opened Kitakanto sales office in Utsunomiya.

1996 Moved Tokyo branch office to Shiba, Minato-ku, Tokyo.

1999 Acquired the Certification of "ISO 9002" standards at MEPCO Corp in Hyogo factory.
2001 Acquired the Certification of "ISO 14001 " standards at Headquarter factory and MEPCO Corp.

Acquired the Certification of "ISO 9001" standards at Headquarter factory and MEPCO Corp.
2007 Increased production capacity of MEPCO.(former Hyogo Plant)
2007 Constructed Osaka Daiichi Plant at Osaka Plant site.
2009 Tokyo and Kitakanto branch offices are closed, and Kanto branch office is open in Saitama.
